Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Sr. Solutions Architect
I served in a few roles during my time at AWS including on the Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), GovCloud, and World Wide Public Sector (WWPS) teams. I mainly focused on working with customers to help them select and implement container services on AWS.
While on the GovCloud and WWPS teams I helped US Government and US Government vendors achieve FedRAMP Moderate and High using containers. Contributing to the Kubernetes STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) on behalf of AWS along with other members of the container team.
I moved to the Amazon EKS team to work directly with commercial and public sector customers adopt Kubernetes and leverage Amazon EKS. I helped guide and launch Amazon EKS Anywhere.
Cloudreach - Global Business Line Lead for Infrastructure Migration & Modernization
Joined Cloudreach after the acquisition of the Emerging Technology Advisors by Blackstone. Worked with Cloudreach leadership to build the DevOps and Containerization business line in the North American market. Built and lead a team of 30+ engineers and architects, working with partners and various aspects of the business to develop collateral and go to market strategies. Worked with many high profile customers to drive the adoption of containers and immutable infrastructure. Advised the c-suite of customers on cloud adoption, container adoption, and application modernization.
Emerging Technology Advisors (Acquired) - DevOps & Architecture
Work with enterprises of all sizes to advise, architect, and implement the next generation of IT infrastructure. Specialize in cloud infrastructure, containers, application development, and DevOps. We are experts in implementing Docker Data Center, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Node.js development, Terraform, Packer, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code. Ran operations teams as a service for some of the largest internet companies and applications. Formed strategic business partnerships with Docker, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Cloudistics to offer a breadth of solutions to customers.
Deloitte - Technology Analyst
Supported application design, development, and maintenance for numerous Federal clients. Worked with a DHS customer to stand up the first development environments in AWS, helped designed the new CI/CD pipeline, and develop build single page applications on SharePoint and .NET. Upgraded and modernized the deployment of Oracle Hyperion to utilize the latest release of Windows Server, SSL Termination at the F5 Load Balancer, and automated deployments of future instances. Also, supported many internal initiatives such as recruiting, internal application development, and building sales demos for customer meetings.
